natty light becomes the first beer to go to space.

So two guys went to the Natty Light offices and said, “Hey we have an idea, lets send a can of Natty into space.” The company loved it and the two got to building. You can watch the video below. I really just wish it would have been any other kind of beer, I mean Natty Light, c’mon man.

The Natty Light spacecraft, AKA the Aluminum Fullcan, was made using a styrofoam cooler that housed a full beer, a GPS tracking device, and an HD camera that was pointed at another empty Natty can outside of the craft. It was attached to a weather balloon and launched on November 17th.
