Shortly, the last half season of Breaking Bad will begin and that’s gonna be it. No more Walt, no more Jesse, no more dead drug lords. But it looks like that the character of Saul, played by Bob Odenkirk, may be getting his own spin-off, probably as he high tails it the fuck out of New Mexico.
Deadline stresses that no deals are in place yet and the project is “in its nascent stages,” but that Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and series writer/producer Peter Gould are having conversations with AMC and Sony about a Saul series they would produce. Gilligan and Gould created Saul together when he was introduced as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman’s oh-so shady attorney in Season 2 of Breaking Bad.

Earlier this year, AMC aired the pilot episode of The Walking Dead in black and white. The response was overwhelming. Most fans thought it added to the overall “scariness” of the show but the real reason it was done was to give a nod to the comic books that the show is based off of which were all done in black and white. Anywho, because the episode got such a spectacular reaction, the showrunners have decided to re-air all of the episodes in black and white starting this February. So once February comes around, stock up on popcorn and get ready to stay in your house.
